The MEDpro Loop Stent has several distinct advantages compared to the traditional Double J stents. Thanks to its unique bladder design, it comprises of an average of 70% less material and therefore needing 70% less material to be inserted into the bladder. Furthermore, it has a specific position designed to mimic fluoroscopic placement as compared to the traditional J stents.
Intended purpose: The Loop Stent is intended to facilitate temporary urinary drainage from kidney to urinary bladder in urology procedures through body orifices.
The MEDpro Loop Stent is made of a white radiopaque polyurethane material, delivered in sterile peel-open packaging. It is intended for one-time use only.
