Initial puncture needle

The MEDpro Initial Puncture Needle is used to make vertical, initial puncture through a small incision in the skin. This is performed prior to the percutaneous placement of a pigtail catheter or Malecot catheter in the renal pelvis for nephrostomy drainage.

Intended purpose: The Initial Puncture Needle is intended to facilitate percutaneous placement of a pigtail catheter or Malecot catheter in the renal pelvis for nephrostomy drainage.

The MEDpro Initial Puncture Needle is made of stainless steel. It is delivered in a peel-open package and is intended for one-time use only.
